Cabling
One of the most common tree failures that arborists see is codominant stem breakage. Codominant stem breakage occurs when the main stem of the tree forks into two or more large branches. Research on these junctions has revealed that they are only half as strong as a trunk without a fork. A crack below the junction indicates that the tree has already started to separate. To save the tree from more damage, East Branch Timberworks can install cables to hold the stems together.
